I'm getting there

Oil is the toughest medium (for me). I didn't know how artists (such as my teacher) did such life-like works with finesse. I think I am slowly beginning to make some progress in the right direction. I saw a picture while surfing the net and decided it had to be attempted. I gave myself 2 weeks and together with a completed painting, I have gained a lot of self-confidence :) I love oil painting now and ... want to drown myself in all the colours!!

Got a 8x10 print of the Lakshmi with that Mayawati elephant. Did I break any copyright laws? The Lakshmi is sweet (this is as far as I can go when it comes to complimenting).

What's cooking, Senora? Another master piece in the pipeline?
I accidentally landed on this post of yours. I thought I was the only one who enjoyed doing the dishes. 'Enjoy' may not be the right word, but, over time I realized that to relieve the day's stress, it works better than watching TV or getting engaged in conversations. My weirdness has company, that is the good part.

Avada Kedavra, thanks :)

Swapna Raghu Sanand, Thanks a lot, how have you been? :)

Sorcerer, I couldn't agree more. The effect is almost 'life-like' don't you think?

uptake, Hahahaha.. Yeah washing utensils is a quirk not many ppl would claim to enjoy. You said it right though - It is a stress buster sans doute! ;)
