2 months ago, I had the virus attack. This time it was my laptop. First. Then the PC. Then my office PC. It ended there. I honestly felt like the carrier. One of my colleagues tried to do some fixes and even the anti-virus got infected (or so he said, I am blissfully unaware and hopefully I can survive that way). So at work I had to get the IT dept. to fix my machine & at home, I had to bribe my brother to restore my system. The former was easier than the latter :-/
While all this was happening and much more, I did a Tanjore painting. This time I attempted a really big one. It took me 2 months to finish. Since the faces are small, I doubt you can see clearly.. Also this is a picture I took on my really ancient mobile phone! I got the picture from this site.
Just to add to what the painting is about, the Kurukshetra war between Kauravas & Pandavas forms the climax of the Indian-Hindu epic Mahabharat. The war was fought for the Hastinapura throne in Kurukshetra, Haryana, India. Before the war, Arjuna (Pandava prince) faces a moral dilemma about fighting his own kith and kin (Kauravas are his cousins). Lord Krishna (as his charioteer) elaborates his various duties and responsiblities as a warrior. This discourse forms the Hindu scripture, Bhagavad Gita. In this picture, the blue-bodied God is Lord Krishna.
That was the gist for those who have no clue about the Gita or 'updesham' (advice). To know more, wiki is quite exhaustive and covers most aspects of the story :-)

ps: So proud of you for finishing that Tanjore painting so so beautifully. Those things are quite difficult and detailed. I know cause a friend of mine had made one once! :)
