This portrait was all ( or mostly ) about her eyes. If you don't know who she is, follow this link to read about her. I love all her movies and still think she is the epitome of beauty. I took an entire day to finish it. There are tons of articles, videos and blogs on portraiture so I am not going to elaborate on the techniques. However, I feel there was a before-portraiture and after-portraiture phase in my life.
When I feel not-so-confident about something, I think about my portraits.
When I am scared about cooking something new, I derive strength from portraits.
When I am nervous about my driving test, you get it, it's portraits again.
When I am bored, of course I pick up my pencils and tortillons !!
Oh, I am addicted alright :-)
